Introduction to the new normal

During the first week of class, we were asked to explore a website about the topic "Design Responds to a Changing World". There is a collection of articles relating the Covid-19 pandemic about some ideas, tips, thoughts, and strategies on how design can play a role in making the world a healthier place. After reading through the articles, we had chosen one interesting topic about understanding the touchless workplace.

As the health crisis pushes us to minimize points of contact, a touchless workplace would be the best solution for the new normal. The technology roadmap should able to cover several years and not just six months. Thus, we need to focus on the short term and plan for the long term.
